Sambal Shiok collaboration burger


We are excited to announce the launch of our latest burger collaboration:
The Chicken Satay Burger: with laksa bar superstar Mandy Yin.

This limited-edition burger features Yin’s signature spicy, pungent and no-holes-barred flavours: a spiced chicken patty with Sambal Shiok peanut sauce, sweet cucumber and red onion pickles and sambal chilli sauce in a brioche bun.

£1 from the sale of each burger will go to Parkinson’s UK, a charity close to Yin’s heart, which aims to improve life for everyone living with Parkinson’s in the UK.

The Chicken Satay Burger can be enjoyed from Tuesday, 18thJune for two months at all Haché.

Ex-lawyer and self-taught chef Mandy started off small with a street food stall six years ago with this Chicken Satay Burger before pursuing her laksa bar as a pop up concept. She opened Sambal Shiok Laksa Bar in Highbury in 2018 to critical acclaim.
Spicy, pungent, no-holds-barred flavours are her calling card. Mandy has steadily built a loyal following for her unique dishes, drawing on her food memories of growing up in Kuala Lumpur mixed in with her London favourites and travel inspirations.

Her goal is to showcase Malaysian food whilst being accessible and welcoming to all.



Laksa is Malaysia’s national spicy noodle soup, and there are many different versions across the country.  Mandy’s signature traditional laksa broth has a powerful shrimp base. She also offers a vegan laksa broth.
